Changes to the Government Job Retention Scheme – Furlough Pay
From July 2021 the amount of furlough claim is being reduced to 70% of employee wages up to £2,187.50. Employers must make up 10% so that their employees still receive 80% of their normal pay.
This reduces to 60% of employee wages in August up to £1,875.00 with the employer making up 20%.
September 2021 is the final month for furlough claims. The claim remains at 60% up to £1,875.00 with the employer making up 20%.
